Hey, it's Friday. What the heck? Where did the week go?!? I'm running out of time to register the car, but hopefully I'll have the car fixed and the e-test passed this weekend. I've got a lot of things to look at on the car as well though. *sigh* I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to spend the time to at least make some preventative fixes on the Corolla seeing as I want to use it for at least a year.. (The front left bearings and the rear suspension come to mind.)
It's so easy to talk to a wall, but when the wall talks back, what do you say?

What the hey? I got a call from some lady asking if I wanted a "free" magazine subscription. I barely have enough time to skim through the paper in the morning! It's from the same group that tried hawking the same subscription last year. I decided to decline again.

I just finished reading Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. It's a pretty interesting read, and has the same feel as Tunnel in the Sky although Loony prose was tough to swallow at first. Next up on the list is Asimov's The Caves of Steel. Ooh, sounds ominous.

I think it was, I don't actually remember now. I went out to lunch with a couple of the higher ups from work at some bar. Well, the place was suggested by one of the guys because there was smoking allowed upstairs. Well, that was wrong, but he knew one of the waitresses (who actually was a bartender) and that definitely provided enough sights to see for the entire meal. I haven't seen many dresses with skirts that short, and I was told that it got shorter in the summer. *oogles* There was more leg showing than.. I have no idea, but holy crap she turned a lot of heads. (Especially when she bent over. Although I was not privy to those events since I had the chair facing the wall.) Ah well, now I know where next to go for lunch with the guys!
