[10:34 AM EDT - Dream Sequence: Back to Monday.]

Back to the beginning of the week again aren't we? *thinks* There were a couple of things I wanted to write down but unfortunately never got around to due to ToB. One was a couple of dreams I had a couple of nights ago. I only remember two aspects of it. The first part was situated in a very dark cavernous room. It's partioned up into cell-like structures and is used as a prison for a number of people. I remembered walking around in one with Laz in the one next to me. A few of our captors were outside in front of our gates where they were examining our equipment. They wanted to test some of our own equipment on us, so two of them equipped themselves with this strange scanner contraption, and opened our gates. I told Laz to rush the guy on the right, and I headed towards the guy on the left. Unfortunately, I meant for him to rush the lady in the middle, but he went after another group of guys on our far right. I ended up wrestling for the scanner with this big creature (he was trying to activate the stun function on it and failed). I managed to push him down so that I could take out the lady who was also trying to use the stunner. I managed to scare her off, but I realized that because I didn't take her down, she'd get help. This was bad news, so I went back to the first guy (who was getting up), wrenched the scanner from him, and stunned him. Laz had dispatched his group so the two of us headed down into a little room which was attached to a hijacked plane that had recently landed. I talked to the pilots and told him that we were getting the heck (which means hell) out of Dodge, and he warned me that they had just landed and didn't have a lot of fuel. I told him to get ready anyway.

Now the dream changed. We (Laz and I) are outside (one bright and sunny summer day) in the middle of a ruined city. We're hunting a vampire. (Why a vampire would be outside on a bright and sunny day is anyone's guess.) We quickly split up and look for him. I find him first at the top of a ruined building, whith a bunch of hostages. Or fodder. Or something. People I think. Anyway, for some reason, I knew the people were doomed, and I wanted them out of their misery so I told Laz to use his bazooka on that side of the building. (Where my bazooka is I don't know. Actually, I think I didn't have any weapons on me.) I didn't get any message back, and the vampire was getting ready to attack. (I think he was drawing his energy from those hostages.) So, as I was losing hope, this British guy shows up. (One of those old guys on documentaries.) He checkes the situation over and I ask for help. He mentions that he only has one charge left on his ring, but takes the plunge. He dives towards the vampire and uses his ring before collapsing. The ring worked! The vampire was held, but not for long. So I ran towards the vampire to push him off the building, but he took a step back and I only caught his arm. He wasn't held..

Hmmm.. are these roadtrip ideas that are surfacing into your dreams?

If so, I'm there! Just let me find my bazooka.

(In reality, we SHOULD be having more adventures! Curse those silly terrorists.)

I also wanted to mention that these dreams sound very Baldur's Gate II influenced. Heh.

AND, as a bonus side note, sometimes those styles don't work in my browser (IE 5.00.2920). I don't know if it's worth checking out though.

Hey.. I think you're right! It that dream is very Baldur's Gate IIish. BTW, what sort of problems are you getting with the styles?

I tend to get no style at all! On my work machine, that is; at home I have IE 5.50.4522.1800 and it works fine.

I'm using sugarcoated v1.0 at work.
