Well, I have started cleaning my place again. I fired up the vacuum cleaner and was accosted by a rather funky odour emanating from the device. A few synaptic connections later, I realized that the smell was probably coming from the filter, which had trapped dust and other unmentionables in the bag for many moons. I can not recall if I had ever changed the bag. I do remember that I checked it once, the first time I used it, and the bag was not full so I did not replace it. When I checked it just now, it was not just full, but overflowing! Ugh. I replaced the bag and now my room smells much nicer. I will continue cleaning..
Uhh, on the other hand Pokey just got engaged! (Just got an IM.) Ohh, I guess I need to go and talk now.

After cleaning up the hardest parts of the apartment (all related to the bathroom), I went out to get some food for tonight and gas for the bike. The weather was fantastic, and I would have gone out for longer if I did not have things to do. Anyway, I rode out to one grocery store and found out that the 24 hour store was actually closed! Oh crap! This was not going to bode well food wise. In addition, the gas station at the corner was closed. I did a loop through the neighborhood to the other gas station I use and bumped into another rider. After I filled up, I passed by another grocery store and realized that I was probably going out for dinner tonight. Expensive!
Just before I got home, I passed by this lady who was walking in the opposite direction on the sidewalk. She looked at me, smiled and waved. Now was she waving at me, or someone behind me?

When MJNL came over, we basically watched The Office all night. I had to work the next day, so I tried to go to bed early.
