Every time I hear the song Love Don't Let Me Go by David Guetta vs The Egg, I keep thinking back to the MOD scene and all of those great tunes that came out around that time, specifically when Star Control II came out. The pipe sound that comes at the end reminds me of one tune from the game in particular, but I can't remember which one. Maybe Laz might be able to help?

I haven't heard the song before, but yeah it does have a MOD-y feel to it. Then again, most euro-dance does.
Hmmm.. it has the feeling of the sb_cmdr.mod. The "pipe" reminds me of the flute in arilou.mod, or perhaps q-space.mod.

Yeah, most euro-dance sounds like MOD music. It is as if the original MOD composers have gone out into the world and started making music that is now much more widely listened to. I wonder what happened to some of those big name composers like Skaven and Purple Motion from Future Crew?
