[Saturday, March 20, 2004: St. Patrick's South.]

It was St. Patrick's day today, although my beer drinking habits are non-existant so I really didn't into the mood of things (neither was anyone else really) although I was wearing green pants.

We spent the whole day working. The entire day was spent trying to get this thing to work, so I ended up doing a lot of coding while they were hammering out ideas.

We didn't leave until the end of the day, and by then it was starting to get dark. We headed out to the..

I forgot the name. Crap. It wasn't the Green Iguana, but a restaurant close by. Anyway, they served Jamacian style food, and I had some seafood paella and that was SO filling!

The boys talked about living on a farm (apparently they've all been on a farm, I was the only urbanite of the bunch). But I spent the time digging through my massive bowl of paella. There was so much food I felt like I was going to burst!

Ah well, at least it was good and the stories were quite entertaining..

[Saturday, March 20, 2004: Big breakfast.]

In addition to the large rooms, I came down for breakfast in the restaurant and was surprised to find out that there was a chef, and a whole array of food! I was expecting some sort of continental cuisine, but they had bacon, eggs, french toast, omlettes made to order, sausages, etc.

There was a LOT of food. My only gripe was that they didn't have any maple syrup. I can handle table syrup but honestly, I'm pretty much addicted to that stuff now.

I noticed that the milk they were offering was homogenized. However, they also had homogenized fat free milk.. It took me a little while to remember that homogenized doesn't necessarily mean five percent fat. (But that the milk was mixed first before being skimmed.)

Oh, I tried it out and it wasn't all too bad. It was basically flavoured water.

As I was taking my video of the room in the morning, I realized that I had forgotten to bring my camera cable! Doh! That meant that I was limited to only 16MB of space for video and pictures. Sucky. (It didn't really matter since I didn't have time to take any pictures anyway.)
