[11:00 AM EST - It's snowing!]

Holy snow Batman! I just got into the office, and then all of this white stuff started coming down. Everything's already covered in snow and there doesn't seem to be any signs of letting up. I guess it's around that time of the year. We usually get our first snow around this time. I wonder how the rest of the winter will be like?

I finished off watching "Spawn" last night. Apparently I've already seen all of the third season before. Hrumph. Now I'm wondering if there was any more made..

[Saturday, November 2, 2002: Swapping stories.]

Geez, I hate updating so late after the fact. I usually forget so many of the details that everything becomes very boring. Anyway, I went to the Pickering ski swap to volunteer. I had to put in at least four hours before it gets counted towards the contribution thing so I stuck around for four hours behind one of the computer terminals. It was a bit better than last time since I actually got to sit down. (I was standing up basically the entire time last year.)

The interesting part of the night was when I was talking with one of the rookies who'll be patrolling at my hill. We were chatting about this and that, and I found out that he went to UW. Eventually he asked me which highschool I went to. After I told him, I asked where we went to. It was the same one. No way! That's so freaky! To top it off, he said.

"I remember playing chess with you."

No way! That is very freaky, and now that I think about it, I remember that game. It was the first chess club meeting in the year, and we had some new recruits. This boy was in grade nine, but he played very well. (I think he beat SLWD which is why he was ushered to play me.) So, he became our fifth board that year.

It sort of reminds me of how I met up with KB..
