I chuckle everytime I hear that song. Anyhoo, I've been checking up on news, and there's a lot of it out there. First from ArsTechnica: It's possible there's a physics hoax out there that's been in the works for a while. It's still a rumour, but this is actually quite interesting (to me at least). Mind you, I skimmed through the journals and noticed that they didn't include some of the bigger journals I'm used to: Phys. Rev., J. Chem. Phys., J. AstroPhys., etc.
I remember my RJL or FM telling me that scientists who have articles that have been rejected by one journal shouldn't try submitting them to another journal. That's bad form. (The above has nothing to do with what I just said, but I just wanted to write it down so that I remembered.)
Anyway, the other ArsTechnica link was about a way to find extrasolar planets which were about 30 Earth masses by studying dust rings.
The ShackNews's got a link to some new space station developments which I saw a while ago. While there were some warnings about the sniper before he went on his killing spree. But really, you can't stop everyone you think might be over the cliff. "Precrime" starts coming to mind..
Finally, blogger referal logs are being used for spam. Yay.

The physics hoax link goes to the spam article.
Oh well, such is life.
