I got up early so that I could finish cleaning up the house and moving everything off the floor. The cleaners came in more-or-less on time and started hosing the place down. I had forgotten how wet the carpet would become and was glad I actually had somewhere to go that day.
When I got back from tutoring, the carpet was still soaked and there wasn't much I could do but pick up my cleats and head out.
I went to another ultimate tournament today. I didn't expect to play much because I was told that they would have two full lines, and that was wrong. They had MORE than two full lines! I decided to hang around anyway since everyone was so friendly. (And there was so much food!) I did get to play a few points. Coincidentally enough, we lost a point every time I was on, so I sort of stayed off for the rest of the tourny.
When I got back home, the carpets were STILL wet. Man.. I didn't expect it to take this long to dry, but today was a cool and undry day so I wasn't too surprised. Besides, storm clouds were rolling in..
So we ended up with a huge thunder storm. It was pretty cool to watch, although I had to run through it to get home from dinner. I got so soaked from that voyage into the rain, and it wasn't even that far! It was fun though, I haven't run around in the rain (whooping and hollaring) in a long time.
