With the cancellation of the AMY's BBQ, MJNL and I had nothing planned until later in the afternoon, so we had a much needed sleep in. We spent a part of the morning shopping at Shoppers Drug Mart as they were having a bonus redemption thing going on. We used our points to buy a Nintendo DSi. Actually, this was MJNL's birthday present, but we had to wait until the units came out and for Shoppers Drug Mart to have their redemption bonus. At least MJNL can now play the game I bought for her for Christmas.
We had a horseback riding excursion set for the afternoon. Windelynn had organized it and since I had never gone, I thought it would be a good experience. Heck, I even brought along my cowboy hat.
Unfortunately, it did start to rain, and the paths were a little muddy. We had fun though. I'll post some pictures later.
We headed to Windelynn's place after our BBQ dinner to hang for a bit. We got to play with her cats.. kittens and dogs before going home.
