So we were supposed to get up early this morning. Of course, at around two, the piercing wail of the fire alarm woke us out of bed. I looked around and found no fire, but went downstairs to see what was going on. I found out that the alarm originated from my building on my floor! However, there was no fire, and the firemen eventually called off the alarm. When I got back to my apartment, I heard one of the inner alarms going off at a neighbor's unit. There did not seem to be a fire, and after looking around, I found the alarm and turned it off.

We went out to dinner for the badminton year end party. As the strike had canceled all of our playing permits, it was the first time we saw everybody in a month! We ate at Frankie Tomato's and got pretty full while having a good time. I did not really get a lot of time to catch up with everyone, but it was good to see some faces we hadn't seen in quite some time.
