How? While driving or storing/removing something?

I will say that I wish people cared less about the spot-less condition of their cars, and that I'm vaguely amused that such a minor (and somewhat unavoidable) thing can cause so much anguish.

I do care on how much it will cost to fix as it is quite noticeable should I wish to sell the car. (Maybe not so much in the wintertime.)
