I drove to hockey tonight, and the skies seemed as clear as the roads. I was able to get onto the highway without any problems and made very good time to get to the rink. The game itself was okay, although I did not do all that well, but when I stepped out of the rink two hours later, I walked into a winter wonderland! There was about one to two centimeters of snow on the ground. This was the dry, sandy snow that tends to blow around and is horrible for making snowballs. It is, also a lot easier to brush off the car.
In any case, traffic had been reduced to about half it's normal speed, so I ended up passing a lot of cars on the way home. There was a surprising amount of traffic as well for this time of the night, but I am sure that it will get a lot worse when the bars let out. Man, it seemed so sudden!
