[Sunday, December 9, 2007: Shopping to do.]

Well, I had planned to go shopping for a suit, and for anything else I needed to get for Christmas. Unfortunately my list is small, not because there is not much to get, but because I do not know what to get!

But first thing was first, I wanted to meet up with Laz first before going to look at suits. Since the weather was pretty decent, I took my bike out to fill up on gas. The temperature was close to freezing, and it was a clear and sunny day. I did not think that there would be a better opportunity than this to take my bike out for one last ride around the block. I needed to fill the tank with gas so that I could put in the fuel stabilizer, and I was not in any mood to fill it with 'jerrycans'. That errand took the better part of an hour, mostly because my bike was stuck as someone had started parking their car in the once empty spot next to my car. I had to take my car out before I was able to bring the bike out (and I had to put the car back).

After I was finished with that job, I headed to Canadian Tire to ask about the incorrectly entered receipt that I got on Friday. Fortunately, they did not give me a hard time, although I had to wait a while while they tried to figure everything out. This too took nearly half an hour. Then I was able to head down to Laz's place, somewhat later than I had anticipated.

After I picked up Laz, we went shopping for suits. MJNL wanted me to pick up a more modern suit since the one I have right now is about a decade old, and out of style. (Although someone like me would never notice.) I think single breasted three button suits are now in? Anyway, that is what I ended up getting. I hope I chose correctly.

Oh yeah, I need to take pictures for MJNL.

After I picked up the suit, we went shopping. I wanted some sharpies and chocolate. I found the sharpies (only to find out afterwards that I was supposed to get the non-permanent ones), but I could not find the chocolates (although I did find some Merci chocolates at Walmart).

After that, we went back to Laz's place where I tried out Half Life 2: Episode 2 (which was quite fun actually), before heading home.

I had a hockey game, and I knew that were were going to be short on players, so I was compelled to go. I was right, we had six people (including the goalie) show up for our team. Funny enough, the other team also had six people. There was some discussion about playing four on four with a sub, but I wanted to play five on five. I think that made a big difference, since our team had a lot more endurance than the other team even though the skills were evenly matched.

I certainly got some exercise.
