[11:10 AM EST - Dream Sequence: Brain Crabs.]

I've been getting a lot of dreams lately, but I haven't had time to write them down. Most of them were vivid enough for me to remember, but it's unfortunate that I'm unable to chronicle them until after they've drifted off into the ether.

Anyway, I found myself in a decrepit apartment building, much like those in Half-Life 2. There were a number of people living in there, but I don't think I recognized anyone. There was something going on in the building though. I was doing some snooping around, and noticed these round creatures, with six or eight long spindly legs (making it look like crabs). But they jump very high and can attach themselves to a person's head. Their pincer like legs can penetrate into a human skull and they would attach themselves to the top of his or her head. I watched in horror as a few had already attached themselves to a couple of the residents. They didn't seem all too adversely affected, but I wasn't sticking around to find out.

I ran into another apartment which had a trapdoor that lead to the basement. The door was flimsy and I wanted to investigate. When I looked down, I saw a rotting wooden stairwell, leading to some sort of sewage pipe. The pipe was full of these creatures. They started climbing up the stairs and I quickly closed the door. Unfortunately, the wood was soft and couldn't hold off the onslaught of these crabs and I ran for my life. The guy with me (it was his apartment) ran as fast as I could, and I watched as the flood enveloped countless residents.

As we ran from the building, it exploded in a fiery inferno. This got rid of those creatures inside the building but then it also ejected a mass of these crabs into the surrounding area. The creatures started to run rampant all over the city. It was time to be afraid. Very afraid..
