Rain, rain go away..

Man, the weather today was pretty dismal. I was planning to go out exploring, but I decided against that idea when I saw the storm clouds approaching. Instead, I walked out to see if I could find food. Silly me. As I was waiting to cross the street I was caught in a huge downpour which got me completely drenched. By the time I found shelter, the rain had already let up and I was soaping wet.

I wanted to get some stamps so that I could mail out my postcards, but I misread the label on the machine (I was concentrating on the "5") and ended up getting a set of stamped postcards instead. Those were pretty much useless to me, but I didn't have enough small bills to get a set of stamps. The smallest bill I had was a twenty, so I ended up putting it in the machine, and got back seventeen dollar coins (the machine spat out dollar coins in change) which are now burning a hole in my wallet. Hopefully I'll be able to use them before my wallet bursts at the seams.

Ugh, I hate it when they keep saying "American cheese". It's processed cheese! Eww!! Calling it American cheese makes it sound more.. gourmetish. Like Swiss cheese. It isn't though. Not by a long shot.

The window of my room faces west, so I got an amazing view of the sunset. The clouds accentuated the deep red hue of the setting sun. Unfortunately, the window also faced the highway, which meant that I got all of the traffic noise. Looking at the bright side, it helped me get up the next day..
