[10:04 PM EDT - Line of eggs.]

Thanks to Dangerman's link, I also came across an easter egg for my Director's Cut of the "Army of Darkness".

With the markets so depressed, I decided to start throwing my money at equities. (And while I'm at it, I might as well go for a lottery ticket right?) So after work, I drove down to my local bank. Along the way, I came across an intersection where the traffic lights were out and a cop was directing traffic. This didn't strike me as odd until I came up to the next intersection and noticed that those traffic lights were also out! (The lights were out completely. None of this flashing nonsense.) The next set were down to, as were the next set. The entire block seemed to be powerless. It hit me as I came across the second set of lights that my computer went down late in the afternoon. This would explain why. Well, even more reason for a UPS, although power was down for a good three hours and I doubt any affordable UPSs would've been powerful enough to keep my system afloat for that long.

After arriving at the mall, I got my lottery ticket and went to the (new) receptionist to book an appointment. We chatted for a bit and she looked.. familiar. But when I gave her my last name, she didn't seem to recognize me so I left it at that. I was reading the paper and looking over at her every now and then, and it really started to bother me. Have I seen her before? I was told that it would be a while before a representive would see me so I headed to the library where I saw a copy of "Shadow of the Hegemon" by Orson Scott Card. I haven't read "Ender's Shadow" yet so I decided to hold off reading this guy.

When I came back to the bank, I knew I had to ask if she knew someone so I popped the question. Her response was:

"Oh, you're that girl's brother aren't you?"

Cha-ching! Crap, I forgot her name.. and I couldn't see her nametag because of her hair, but we chatted for a bit to catch up. Well, it's not like we really knew each other before though. Oh well, I just found it interesting that I knew someone who worked at my bank now.

Oh yeah, the lady I eventually talked to started going through my accounts and went off on a tangent of credit lines while I was finding out more information about mortgages. (Apparently they want the person to have worked for at least three years. Grr..) So while I was deciding on how much money to throw into the stock market, she whipped up some documents and I suddenly became an owner of a line of credit. What the.. I don't need the money. *shrug* Oh well, it's always useful in an emergency right?

[10:16 PM EDT - Ultimate tournaments.]

I got some links from girl to some ultimate tournaments. There's the zodiac one, and then the TCSSC tournament. Oh yeah, here's a list or two.

[10:33 PM EDT - Back to good.]

I've gone back to the old format. Sort of. I've kept some of the changes I made when putting together the new format, but I got rid of the nav menu. It really was annoying me. I left the nav button in but it's really just a curiosity. A tech test if you will. I'm going to see if I broke anything in the process.

If not, I'll see if I can work on those picture captions.

[11:11 PM EDT - Sessions.]

Hmm, I want to be able to save session information, but unfortunately, I don't think I can do it with my javascript/Perl combination. At lest not easily that is. I think I'll need some sort of PHP implementation. I've been planning on using PHP and MySQL but I haven't had the time. *looks at watch* I still don't. Heck, I haven't touched Warcraft III in weeks!
