It's going to be another warm one today and I'm in need of gas. I've been holding off getting any because I didn't need to drive around on Sunday but the ultimate game will be pretty far away today..
You know, I'm really tempting fate here. One of these days, I will end up running out of gas..
AT and I went out to lunch and dropped by the Future Shop to look into this deal that they were having with Warcraft III. Apparently they were giving away the Microsoft Claws free with any purchase of Warcraft III while supplies last. So the two of us mosied on down to the store and inquired about the availability of the claws only to be told that they had run out and the promotion was over. (It was apparently on since last Wednesday.)

Hey, I got an "X-Men" DVD from girl and Dangerman! Whee! I was hoping for a "Back to the Future" DVD, but apparently they haven't made it! Curses!!
Anyhoo, I went to ultimate today even though there were dinner plans. On the way there, I saw this crazy driver in my rear view mirror zoom in from the fast lane (I was in the outside lane) out into the outside lane and closed quickly. He then went around me onto the shoulder to get off at the same exit I was getting off on! What the hey? I'm glad I checked because I could've sped up and cut him off.
It took a while to find the park. It wasn't one of our usual fields and it was far away from our stomping grounds. What erked me were all of those one way streets which turned the entire neighbourhood into a maze. I eventually was funnled into a dead end that ended up in a school, so I decided to park and walk around to see if I could find the field. Lucky for me, I had parked in the most ideal spot for our game! And I didn't even know about it until they found me wandering around the park.
Our game last week was canceled, so I needed my ultimate fix. You could tell because I could catch, but I couldn't throw. My throws were all off. It was sad really.
Anyhoo, the score was 14-11 for the other team (which is great since we've never played this well before) but when I asked for the time, I was told that it was 8:20. Uh oh.. dinner plans were for 8:30 and.. it's a long ways away. So..
I was a little late. But I wasn't the last to show up!!
I just finished watching "X-Men" again. It was an okay film. I wanted to see the hidden scenes but I couldn't figure out how to view them! Grr.. I'll figure it out eventually.
Man it's late. I should get some sleep.
