I patrolled again today. All of this skiing is really helping me with my freestyle. Hopefully I'll be able to transfer these skills when I'm between the bars. AE got me going through the fun park and I started going over some of the jumps and stuff. Holy crap, the first time I hit air (which was actually on Thursday night) I was a little freaked out. The more times I did it however, the more comfortable I got. Mind you, I fell down quite a number of times but.. *checks self* I'm still good! "Don't get yourself injured!" LS (the cute one) told me afterward. Yeah, yeah. It was actually quite fun!

Hockey was actually quite challanging today. I showed up at the rink and I thought that I had arrived to the wrong game. The rink was packed with people! We actually had seventeen people show up (excluding the goalie). In addition, a number of the new recruits were actually much better caliber than the usual group, and that gave me a much better game to work on my skills.
One of the guys showed me how to do a wrist shot. I was having problems lifting the puck (since I never had to do it - and wasn't supposed to - in any of the previous games) and he showed me how you're supposed to do it. Found it on the web he said. (Fancy that!) We even had a girl play with us, and she was better than a good number of the regulars! *nods*
<- watches a few of the guys swooning over her. (A girl who plays hockey? A dream GF! LOL.)
It was a good game. Too bad I probably won't be able to make it out for the next two weeks..
