Today was MJNL's last day on her first contract job and she wanted to celebrate. So I suggested that we go to have dinner at the Lobster Trap. We have driven by that restaurant so many times but never eaten there, and MJNL heard that the lobster bisque there was really really good. I certainly wanted to try it out. I have had lobster bisque before, but I was never truly impressed by it.
I wanted to ride, as the weather was not too cold for a short trip, and I did not want to pay for parking. Fortunately, MJNL agreed so we showed up at the restaurant in our riding gear! I ordered the lobster bisque and Lobster Thermidor. MJNL got the fisherman's platter and the lobster bisque as well.
The bisque was a good choice. It was some of the best.. liquid anything that I have had before! I certainly would recommend it to anyone. The thermidor was tasty, but not as worth it as the bisque was.
Anyway, right after dinner, I went to broomball. I had been nearly a month since I played last and it showed. I could not hit the broad side of a barn. But it was a pretty even game in the end.
