I remember when I was still in university and was working on a computer all the time, I was basically treating e-mail as a semi-instant messaging tool. I had enough time on my hand to respond to e-mail as quickly as I receive them. I guess it did annoy more than one person as I had one response of,
"Shouldn't you be doing work right now?"
Now the roles are reversed. I am taking days, if not weeks to respond to my e-mail and when I see some people responding as quickly as I send out during my weekly e-mail clean up, I realize that I have to spend more of my perceived non-existent time to respond to this new e-mail. Blackberries, smart phones, and other mobile tools have allowed more and more people to have their e-mail at their fingertips to respond more quickly to any correspondence. Great for those who need to stay connected. A little annoying for those who do not, or do not have the time to.
Eh, I should get back to my e-mail (and the blog for that matter).

MJNL and I had brunch with Laz at Mel's Montreal Delicatessen, went to Pacific Mall to look for sushi flatware, and then to MJNL's parent's place for dinner.
