I had forgotten that I had dinner plans tomorrow and told JST that I would pick him up at the usual place and usual time for badminton.
A few minutes later, I was about to tell MJNL that we were going to pick up JST when I remembered that MJNL would not be going to badminton. Then I remembered that she would not be going because of dinner plans. Then I remembered that I was part of those dinner plans and would not be going to badminton. Then I realized that I should tell JST that I would not be able to pick him up for badminton.
Whew! Crisis averted!
So the only plan for the day was to have dinner with my parents. As such, I highly doubted that I would be able to make it to broomball tonight and had resigned myself to doing anything else productive today.
The morning started slow. I got some cleaning done, and tried to make sense of the money issue in the wake of last night's party. Then we had some leftovers for lunch, and I had this crazy notion of picking up more beef paddies from that paddy place, so we headed up to my parent's place early to see if we could get some. We had only picked up some spicy beef paddies last week as they had no mild ones in stock and I wanted to get a stack of mild paddies this time. However, we left the condo pretty late and I was worried that the store would be closed when we got there.
Well, we got there and found out that the store was closed on Sundays, so it did not really matter when we left. It seems like the place is only open during regular business hours and Saturdays. Ah well.
After stopping off the bank to deposit some money, we headed to my parent's place where we hung around for a bit before going out to dinner at Day and Night for some steak. When I realized that I needed to pay in cash, I nearly started kicking myself for going to the bank first. But we ended up splitting the bill so I had enough cash on hand to pay for some of it.
The food was pretty good, but I am not a big fan of steak. I had ordered tenderloin which a nice texture but I was not too impressed with the taste.
In any case, we went to Shopper's Drug Mart to pick up some stuff but the computers were down, and we could only pay by cash. So off we went, without buying anything.
I got a call from the concierge asking me about last night, as I had not signed out on the inspection form. So I had to go down to the concierge desk and found out that everything was in order and I just needed to sign. Oh, all good then!
