[7:28 PM EST - All patched!]

I just finished up patching up the holes I made when I was putting up the curtains last month. This was the first time I used 'Plaster of Paris' and it was not as hard as I thought it would be, considering that the instructions gave suggested measurements in different units. (The measurement of the plaster was by weight and the measurement of the water was by volume.)

I think it should be alright.

So yeah, I am back in town after our overnight trip to 'Niagara Falls'. The trip was good, although we got gouged a number of times for parking or food.

So we left a little while after I got back from work since we wanted to eat dinner at the hotel. Our deal included a forty-five dollar voucher for dinner at 'T.G.I. Friday's' or 'The Keg' and that was enough money to pay for most of the meal. So we thought.

Windelynn was also going but nobody else signed up for the deal, so it was only the four of us who were planning to take advantage of the cheap stay. MJNL and I were actually talking about these deals that were going on for the hotels at 'Niagara Falls' before Windelynn found the deal so it was quite a coincidence for us. In any case, our two groups went separately but made it to the hotel at roughly the same time.

We went to 'The Keg' and found out that the prices there were a little more inflated than the regular franchise restaurants. (Which explained why I did not see any prices on the menu for this particular restaurant.) The voucher that we got basically brought the exorbitant prices back down to a normal dinner range, so we were not really getting a deal for our meal!

But enough of that. The food was tasty for the most part, and we wandered over to the 'Fallsview Casino' to check out the mall and check out the casino. We had originally waited around for the shuttle bus to transport us to the casino, but after fifteen minutes, we went back in to find out how far the casino was, only to discover that it was basically across the street.

There was not much interesting at the casino really, so we got back and went to sleep.

Our plans for today differed from Windelynn's so we never saw them. This morning we had a complementary buffet breakfast, and I stuffed myself sufficiently to keep my belly full well past dinner time. Heck, I am still full to this moment, so I do not think I will eat a meal before hockey tonight.

Since the two of us were tired and the weather was cold, we did not do much sight seeing. We drove up the river and through 'Niagara-on-the-Lake'. We did stop at the 'Whirlpool Aero Car' to take some pictures and look around, but stayed in the car for the rest of the drive home.

Oh, I also got a call from JJ who wanted to come by to sell me a helmet, so he stayed for a little while while we chatted it up. Unfortunately the smaller helmet did not fit MJNL so we will have to wait until he brings the extra small helmet to see if it fits her head.
