So I got up really early this morning to catch this very early flight. I am also very hungry. Fortunately, I was able to arrive at a good time. I did not think that the airport would be busy during this part of the week at this time of the day, but there was a lineup at customs! Ah well, I hope I can catch up on sleep on the plane.
Oh, and free Wi-Fi is very nice.

Okay, so I am still on land. Apparently the engine will not start, and they have no time frame for the flight to take off. My connecting flight has been rebooked, but I got up early for nothing! *shakes fist*

Okay, so the engine is still not fixed, my lunch time is getting shorter and shorter.
Oh, and the sun is up now, and I do not feel like sleeping. I think I am going to bed early tonight.

So the airplane that I was supposed to be on is toast. They can not fix the engine on the plane. All other flights to Austin were booked until later today, so I would not arrive until after six-thirty, which means that I had to reschedule my return flight for Saturday, which means that I will not be coming home until the middle of the weekend. *sigh*
Interesting note though, after we disembarked, there was a fellow from our plane who started pacing around, and talking to people. He seemed high or something, and quite a number of people were a little scared of him. It over an hour before security (the police actually) came down to take him away.
I heard later that he had apparently picked up some alcohol from the duty free store, and then drank some on the plane. After we disembarked, he went into the washroom and must have drunk much more of his booze.
In any case, nobody (I know) was hurt.

How about that? The flight I got switched to is delayed by an hour. Apparently I am not supposed to fly today?
Oh goody, there seems to be something crossed with the announcements. One is telling us that the flight is delayed, another is telling us to start boarding the plane.
*looks outside*
