I had a half day today, so I took advantage of the nice weather to ride to work and then ride out to GP bikes where they were having some sort of store clearing sale. I was able to pick up a new visor for MJNL as well as a new rear tire and a charger. Hopefully the tire comes in before it starts to snow, or I will be pressed to figure out how to get my bike there.. (or the other option is to just pick up the tire and do it next year).
One of MJNL's great aunts passed away on Wednesday, so we went to the viewing in the evening. I had met her a number of times in the past so it was a little sudden to hear the news. Quite a number of MJNL's relatives showed up as well. For dinner, we were lead not to a restaurant nearby, but to a food court far away, which closed half an hour after we arrived. We discovered how particular they were when they shut the lights out on us. I was only halfway through my pork bone soup!
