I am being pestered by a spam bot that has been posting comments to the blog for the past week or so. I have been able to keep clearing out the false posts, but I would like to adjust the comment entry to make it a little more difficult for the bots to come in. Ideally the change would not actually affect how anyone else enters in comments.
In other news, Laz found an interesting game called Artemis: Spaceship Bridge Simulator. There is a demo available as well if anyone is interested in trying it out.. (I wonder if it will work over Hamachi?)

MJNL has been trolling the group purchasing sites for the past several months. There are some pretty good deals out there and we have taken advantage of a number of them. The main problem was that there are so many different sites, that it was a chore to go through each of them manually. She told me that it would be nice to be able to do it with only one website, but I told her that it would take me some time to get around to writing something up. Ideally it would be a web page or a feed that would keep us abreast of any deals that are going on in the city. Well, someone else has done it.
It is called Group Buy United and they keep track of sales in quite a number of major North American cities. They also provide a RSS feed for the Toronto area deals. Shopping for deals has gotten that much easier! (Although a lot of the deals are junk - to us.)
