We had our first snow storm of the year today. Traffic was pretty slow during the morning rush. Our condo has a relatively steep ramp to get out of the underground parking lot, and we saw a car stuck on the middle of the ramp as we were getting out. I was able to go around this car and onto the street, but we stopped for a moment to find out if the driver needed help. He had trouble getting up the ramp, but I told him to back up the car and take the second exit, which had a much small gradient. It took some time for him to shimmy out (since he was close to the edge) but when he got close to the bottom, we left for work.
I was only twenty minutes late. Not too bad I guess considering that we stuck around for a while.
The snow will turn to rain this morning, so all of this snow on the ground might just disappear by this afternoon..
