I took today and next Monday off so I gave myself a very long weekend. I spent some time cleaning up the condo, but enough to go downtown to have lunch with Squishy and to catch up on, well, finding out what other people from my circle of people she has been meeting. Of course, by the end of the meal I found out that she knew CJF!
*sigh*
The world is much too small.
Speaking of which, I went to meet up with CJF and JB to drop off their card and goodies and caught up with them to find out how many more people they have been meeting from my circle of people. (There are millions of people in this city! What are the chances?)
MJNL and I went out to watch 'The Nutcracker' tonight. I found out that I enjoyed and recognized most of the music, but I am not a very big fan of ballet. (Yes, there was a bear - two actually - and their abilities were impressive, but it just did not yank my chain.)
After the show, the two of us went to the Fisherman's Wharf of San Francisco for dinner. The food was pricey, but very tasty!
