Our work Christmas lunch party was today. We went to a nearby pub this year because it was going to be quiet and had good service (we had gone there for lunch a week ago and it seemed okay) even though we knew the food was not going to be as good as last year's place.
Somehow we managed to get what seemed to be a very new waiter who mixed up our orders, and our food was much less tasty than I would have liked, and the amount of time it took our food to arrive was not much faster than at other restaurants. Ah well.
MJNL had her work party tonight so I had the night to myself. For one, the torch relay was coming to town. Couple that with a couple of accidents on the highway and it took me nearly an hour to get home.
Now I do not even remember what I did when I got home. There was a Christmas party for the condo, but I was not in a socializing mood. I think I watched a movie, but I forgot which one.
