MJNL and I had to go to bed early tonight so we decided to stay in and watch 'The Kite Runner'. I had read the book a year ago, and had also heard that the movie did not do the book any justice. After watching the movie, I would have to agree. Most of the events that took place in the book are in the movie, but there is a lot backstory in the book that flesh out the characters a bit more, and make them more realistic than what was portrayed in the movie.
