AL, Hakkaka, MJNL, and I crossed the border to do some shopping. MJNL had been looking forward to this trip for quite some time, and we needed to get some clothes and presents for Christmas. We spent most of the day at Tanger Outlets. There were deals, but nothing that really caught our attention. MJNL and I still ended up spending over a hundred dollars after all of the deductions. The highlight for me came after shopping.
We were heading towards an Olive Garden for dinner, but Hakkaka pointed out a restaurant, The Melting Pot, and noticed that it was a 'fondue' restaurant. I was game for something different, as was everyone else, so we went inside. Had I known how much the meal would cost, I would have been a bit more hesitant. In any case, we all went in on the Big Night Out: A cheese fondue, followed by a salad, then a meat fondue (including lobster), and then a chocolate fondue.
It was pretty filling, and very tasty. It was a good pick for a dinner out. Now to figure out if there is one in our area..
