[11:57 AM CEST - Viking Royale.]

MJNL and I went to Roskilde yesterday to check out the Viking museum. We got there a little later than we would have liked, but were able to breeze through most of it before it closed. I had already been there before, so I went over the parts that I missed last time. MJNL was more interested in getting trinkets to send home, but most of the stuff they had there was overly expensive!

We did have an issue on the way back when we lost a ticket. I had never been ticketed before, so I put it out of my mind, until the conductor came by to check our passes! Fortunately MJNL talked our way through, and the conductor said,

"Keep looking, I will come back later."

Our search continued to be fruitless, but the conductor passed without saying anything. After a couple more minutes of searching, a man sitting across from us leaned over and whispered,

"I don't think she's coming back."

I figured that he was right, so we relaxed. I guess we really did look like tourists.

After we got back, we did a bit of grocery shopping, ate, had a Danish tutorial (I have forgotten everything already), and then watched 'Casino Royale'. A much better Bond movie than any others in the past decade.. or two.

[11:21 PM CEST - Hamlet and Elsinore.]

The plan today was to get up early and go to 'Elsinore' and to visit 'Kronborg Castle'. We did not get up early. We got up a little earlier, but we still arrived at the castle around three. Pretty late considering that things close around five here, if not earlier.

The weather cooperated with us though, as it had started off very cool and cloudy. When we arrived at 'Elsinore', the skies cleared and the sun came out. It turned into a fantastic day to be outside! So we checked out the entire castle, and rushed through the casements, with the lights literally being "blown out" behind us. (Important considering that the entire part of that tour was underground, and very poorly lit even with the lights on.)

We had a sandwich after the castle closed before heading back. We ended up having 'shawarma' for dinner.
