So it was MJNL and my anniversary yesterday. Since she was staying with her parents, I had to boot it across the city to meet up, and there were a number of errands that we had to run before doing anything. Most of it had to do with shopping for gifts, but we managed to pick up everything that I needed to get. We had enough time to hunt for a particular restaurant in Georgetown called Yoyo. I had never been there before, and MJNL was only there once, but it was nice, secluded, and.. probably too secluded. We missed it the first time we passed by and had to call for directions.
Furthermore, I never would have considered Georgetown a 'Mecca' for Japanese food, but it was tasty. However I was a little disappointed with the tempura. I stayed over at her parent's place for a bit. Her neighbors were moving out, or so it seemed. At least there will not be any loud noises coming from that house in the near future.
