[Saturday, May 3, 2008: This May be Poker.]

After work, we had our monthly poker night. The turnout was pretty good again, with virtually everyone coming from work. The cards were going fairly well my way, and in fact, there was this lucky ten dollar bill that was ripped in half. DS ripped the bill in half while using it, and declared it lucky. By the time I had arrived, the bill was already sitting with the kitty, which was near one side of the table. Apparently that side of the table was having some fantastic luck, and the money was flowing to that one end. After my arrival, the lucky ten was given to me as change, and my side of the table started getting a lot of money flowing in our direction.

I was getting a lot of good cards myself, until I gave up the bill when I cashed out. CY was the next to get the bill and he began winning a bunch of big hands. (I lost a big one myself during this period.)

But I got the bill back in the end. I plan to bring it to the next game and see if the luck will last.
