I was planning on going to roller hockey today and tutoring, but after lunch I got a phone call informing me that there was no tutoring today and that next week would be the last week. Yippee! My Sunday evenings will be free again!
I did drive down to the arena to play roller hockey. On the way there, I got stuck in a small traffic jam which was caused by people looking at an accident on one of the interchanges. At this point, I ended up behind an SUV that seemed to be going very slowly. What the.. he was slowing down much faster than one would expect for a car that was coasting. So I hit the brakes. I decided to keep an eye on the car in front and realized to my astonishment that his brake lights didn't work! Oh my lord, that is so dangerous! I was thinking of stopping him to warn the driver about the lights, when we got stuck in yet another traffic jam. This one was much shorter, because.. well, I don't know why, but it was shorter. There were a couple of cars involved in what looked like a fender bender. I was thinking of stopping to offer first aid when I saw the ambulence arrive. No need for me anymore! Now where was that other car? *looks around*
Oh well, I hope nobody crashes into him.
When I got to the arena, I didn't recognize anyone there, and there was only one goalie playing as well. I figured that it wasn't worth it to stick around and decided to go shopping. On the way to the mall, I was hit by the brilliant idea to wash the car. Too bad I was already going in the wrong direction for ths car wash. I decided to go shopping first.
I ended up picking up a pair of shin guards which were on sale. I ended up getting skate guards too so that I can use my travel bag as an temporary hockey bag. (Heck, I'm not using it for anything else.) I was also handed a free wallet as I made my purchases. What the heck am I going to do with it? *looks at wallet* I guess I can turn it into a stocking stuffer..
I did some more window shopping and found something I can get for MJO for Christmas! Now as long as I remember and he doesn't get it before then..
finally, I went by the car wash to find out that it was closed. Dejected, I went shopping for food and grabbed a pecan pie. Hmm.. maybe I should partake in a piece?

I've finally got around to sewing that button back on the pants I busted a couple of weeks ago..
Oh shoot. I've got to tutor tomorrow. Then I've got ultimate. Hmm.. that means I have to leave work early..
