[1:04 PM EDT - Taking this ride to heart.]

I just got 2:17 on today's Set puzzle. I should probably put a chart together somewhere so I don't have to keep updating it here.

I just finished taking a shower. Whew! I really needed that. I also really need to take a long nap. The Ride for Heart went very well. The weather was amazing, and the scenery was great. I took it easy this year, but I still ended up tired.

My start time was 7:15, so I got up at 5:30 and had orange juice for breakfast. Banannas would've been a better idea, but hindsight is..

I needed the extra time so that I could throw the bike into the car. After my failed attempts last night, I was convinced that I would have to tie the trunk shut. After five minutes of pushing and pulling the bike into the trunk (after taking off the seat), I decided to close the lid to see how much room I had. *click*

<- eyes widen.

It fits! It fits! Man, that trunk is a lot larger than I gave it credit for! Well, since I didn't have to tie the lid, I didn't really have much in the way of speed restrictions when I went downtown. The weather was cool in the morning, but that was to be expected. I didn't expect it to stay cool for long. Traffic wasn't as bad as I had expected, and while I was driving through the parking lot, I could've sworn I saw Stripes and crew getting ready. Unfortunately, I was tied up with the traffic flow and couldn't stop to confirm.

I took it really easy on the leg up the DVP. I barely even put pressure on the pedals despite going uphill most of the way. I had figured that I would use up most of my energy going back. Well, I ended up picking up a bananna handoff at one of the rest stops. (Actually, I dropped the first one and the girl at the horn shouted "We killed one!" so I sheepishly stopped to pick up the second relay.)

I actually stopped at the halfway point this time. A snack, drink, and washroom break later, I was back on the road and speeding down the highway. Because most of it was downhill, I covered the DVP portion in one quarter of the time it took for me to go up it. The only hard part was the Gardener because it was slightly uphill, and very upwind.

On the last turn, I ended up going into the guard fence. I locked my handlebar with one of the fence posts and scraped off some skin off my right hand. *chews at loose skin* It's all good though.

All in all, it was a good outing. Hopefully I'll actually be able to get people out next year!

[2:04 PM EDT - Gia.]

I was flipping through channels last night and came across a show where a woman started to undress. Okay, so this is not an uncommon feature late at night, but after a bit of.. uh.. filler, she started getting it on with another woman. *blink* And it was getting more and more explicit.. *blink* *blink* What the..? They actually show this on.. oh. Ah ha. Showcase. Nuff said.

[2:17 PM EDT - Cancel all of my appointments.]

I was invited to play roller hockey, beach volleyball & bbq, ultimate, and visit the ROM today, but I can't do any of them. I have enough trouble going up and down stairs. (I'm getting headaches.) I think I'll be going to sleep early tonight.

[9:26 PM EDT - O Fortuna.]

Hey, I forgot to mention that I caught most of 'Excalibur' last night. The story seemed a little rushed, although they did try to condense alot of stuff into a movie format. I was surprised to recognize Patrick Stewart and Liam Neeson.
