So MJNL and I stayed over at my parents' place so that I could drive my dad in the morning. We had to wake up early so that MJNL could get to work on time, so I was tired when I got back to the condo. Well, I was relaxing for a bit but noticed some beeping noises coming from the hallway. The beeping would start and stop but it was not that loud so I ignored it. That is, until my fire alarm went off.
That is when it hit me: They were testing the fire alarms today! I remember seeing the notice, but I threw it out thinking that I would not be in the apartment during the day. Oh silly me.
So the alarms went off in my room intermittently for the next hour or so. I tried turning them off when the alarms started again but eventually gave up and kept some headphones over my ears to lessen the noise. They did eventually make it to my apartment to check out my alarms: Everything checked out fine.
I think they are still continuing the checks, but on different floors as the alarms have given away to the beeping that I heard earlier in the morning.
