[4:23 PM EDT - A long, long weekend.]

MJNL and I had Friday off so we went shopping in Michigan with MJNL's mom, Hakkaka, AL and ML. We wanted to go back to The Melting Pot for a nice (and filling) meal. Since we were also going camping on Saturday, the schedule was very tight. We ended up staying Thursday night in Sarnia, before going over the border on Friday. We spent all day and a fair part of the evening shopping, before having a late dinner at The Melting Pot. Our meal lasted three hours!

I was, however, successful at obtaining a nice folding chair (on sale) from Coleman, and a folding cooler from Columbia. Both of which would prove handy for camping.

We spent the night in Michigan before heading out over the border on Saturday to the Pinery for some camping goodness! Well, the weather did not cooperate with us very much though. It was very cool, and with the wind and rain, it was rather miserable. By the time the sun set, everybody had as much clothes and coverage as they could put on! I even had to put on a jacket and a pair of pants!

Sunday had better weather though, all the kids went out to rent bikes and rode around the park for a couple of hours, MJNL and I went with a few others to hike down to the beach. The temperature was not high, and the water was still cool, but it was nice to wade around on the beach for a bit.

We ended up driving Jeanious and JW back home on Monday. Since we were downtown, we stopped off at an authentic Vietnamese restaurant along the way that was recommended to them. The food was pretty good actually, and the prices reasonable. I think most of the clientele were Vietnamese as well, which gives more credence to the authenticity of the food. (Which really is not that much different than what you get at most other Vietnamese restaurants.)
