..and nowhere to go!
MJNL and I were supposed to go to a charity dinner tonight at a golf course. This was kind of work related, as there were a number of seats available and we needed to get them filled. In any case, we left work early to get prepared and on our way up, we got a call from Derelict (who got there earlier) to inform us that there was nobody at the clubhouse. Now earlier today I was wondering how the golfers would be enjoying our rather heavy rains during the afternoon, but I did not let that bother me since I was only interested in the dinner. But when I heard Derelict's news, I was rather surprised that we were not informed of any changes! It took about ten minutes of phoning around before we found out that they had changed the dinner to a lunch and that.. was that.
So, since we were already pretty far north, MJNL and I went to Sushi Kui for dinner.
