I got sick this weekend. It started earlier in the week when I was getting some soreness in my left leg. It would go away after a while so I thought nothing of it. By Wednesday night, I had a tickling sensation at the back of my throat in addition to the soreness, but again I brushed it off. On Thursday, the coughing began, and I got tired very quickly. That night I had trouble sleeping and had issues with heat: too much, and too little. By Friday morning, I started getting headaches and coughing would lead to a run to the sink.
I spent most of the day in bed. The few hours I was able to get out were wreaked with headaches and poor appetite. I was able to down two lunch cups of yogurt, a cup of lemon honey tea, and some soup. Amazingly enough I was also able to set up our cruise, do laundry, and wash the dishes but I went back to bed at three and stayed there until the next morning.
MJNL came back and made me take some flu pills, which did help me go back to sleep.
Saturday was also a wash: I spent most of the day in bed trying to relax and sleep. It was not until this morning I felt well enough to cook, and finish doing the chores I started on Friday. Heck, I was even able to go outside.
Unfortunately MJNL is starting to feel a little sick..
