[12:28 AM EST - E-mail test.]

I've been testing out that e-mail thing for a little while and it seems to be working somewhat. The only issue is the possibility of abuse. I'll have to keep an eye on the logs until I can figure a way to close the lid on any third party users..

Broomball was okay. I didn't play all too well until later in the game when I actually started passing the ball instead of trying to stickhandle. When there are that many people on the ice, there's no way you can deke around all of them.

[1:12 AM EST - What happened to the names?]

Oops, I think I turned off the domain name lookup. I've been flooded with IPs and it's annoying trying to backtrack them. (Although it does make the system faster.)

[10:06 AM EST - Park it here.]

Is it a sign of a booming economy? Over the past couple of months, it's been harder and harder to find a parking space in my usual parking area (at the side of the building). This morning I couldn't find any spots there and had to drive around to find a parking spot at the front. Eventually I might have to find a spot in the next lot! I'll take that as a good sign?

[1:44 PM EST - On Chinese Cuisine.]

Well how about that, CW got mentioned in the Star, and it was about cooking! Well, I guess there's some sort of (culinary) engineering involved. girl forwarded me the link.

[9:27 PM EST - That Aboriginal Egyptian university gal.]

Well, she doesn't look Chinese. *squints*

It's been busy at work, but today was a little easier than the past week. I got to see a tablet PC! It's a pretty neat gadget. The one I was playing with is about a year old, but the character recognition was pretty good. Well, not if it was me who was writing, but that's probably because of my messy handwriting/printing rather than the software (most people can't read my writing normally)!

The tablet was about the weight of a light laptop and about the same thickness. The screen is about half the size of a 17" monitor, but it felt quite easy to use. It's like a glorified PDA. Apparently newer ones are about half the weight and half the thickness of the one I was using.

The lack of a keyboard wasn't that much of a limitation if you prefer to write notes instead of typing them. Since I've basically communicated with keyboards for the past decade, I can say that my writing skills have atrophied somewhat.

It's still neat though. If you have a chance, check them out!

Badminton went fairly well. We had a large turnout tonight, although a good fraction were kids. I should bring my camera next week. I think it's time for me to take some photos..

[9:53 PM EST - Printers can do just about..]

Wow, first printers could print documents. Then they could print in colour. Now they're thinking of printing circuits. Soon, the'll be printing organs! I got that first link from the ShackNews. This second one is from ArsTechnica.
