Mmm. I just had some apple turnovers for breakfast. I used to dislike those when I was a kid, but as I slowly began to enjoy apple danishes and apple crumble and apple whatever, I've begun to eat more fruity type pastries in my old age. Mind you, apple juice is still a no-no.
So it's the start of another week. Why do weekends go by so quickly? I won't be going to Osler Bluff because I found out that the trip was actually during the day. Unfortunately, it's also around the time when things around here should be getting pretty crazy so taking time off then will not be all too wise. I also found out that I'm on the waiting list for the broomball thing in Cleveland. I won't know if we'll have enough for a second team until a month's time.

I heard about genetic programming in high school, but didn't really learn much about it until university. It seemed like a very promising technology, although I never did follow up on it. Anyway, some guys are working with it and it's producing a lot of interesting results. The article was linked from the ShackNews.
ArsTechnica has a good Game.Ars with info on NWN, Unreal II, and some guy who died from playing Diablo II. (Only six hours? What a wimp!)
