I actually left for work early today. Too bad I got stuck in a traffic jam where they're doing some construction. Actually, the construction's basically over. The traffic jam was caused because of what was constructed, not because of the construction itself. They added a new lane to the road I'm on, but they only marked off two lanes on the road. Well, silly drivers, because of a diversion at the beginning of the street, the traffic filled up all three lanes, so that when we hit the bottleneck at the railroad crossing, there was a huge backup. Grr.
Because I didn't think that the traffic jam was that bad, I ended up in the merging lane and stayed there. Not a wise move. I allowed quite a number of cars to merge in front of me (the ones who snuck down the aformentioned third lane) and I even left a truck get in. Hey, I'm not going to argue with a truck. So.. I was stuck there for a while which is why I noticed the name on the back of the truck: Thibodeau. Heh.. heheh. That reminded me of that RFV skit about finding a job in Montreal. *looks at plates* Quebec. Heh. Okay, life wasn't that bad anymore.

I just finished "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone". It was a very quick read and definitely can be squeezed into a movie. Methinks "Chamber of Secrets" is next on the list. I could easilly go through them all by the end of the month..
