[12:00 PM EST - Spewing my guts out.]

There are those of you who were wondering (and many more who don't really care) what the heck (I said heck cuz I didn't want to say hell) I've been doing for the past two days. Two days and no comments. Well, put it simply, I got sick. Pretty tongue tied, spew out my guts, paste me white, keep me in pj's sick. Mind you, we still believe that's it's only food poisoning since it lasted for about a day, but this is the first time I've gotten this sick since I was short. Boy was that a long time ago. After suffering though a night of torment trying (and failing) to get to sleep, feeling the entire dinner sloshing in your stomach all night long, I was surprised that I didn't just grab a hammer and knock myself out. Maybe I just loved to suffer? Well, had I ever thought to let it out earlier, I probably would've had a much better night's sleep, since that morning, once it was out of my system, I could at least think a bit more clearly. Why do we abhor puking? It's natures way of clearing out or stomach in an emergency. Makes it handy to get rid of poison as long as you're not in the habit of producing a lot of acid. Bah. There's an easy solution to this. Just don't get sick.

After that night of torment, I have wondered how some people can live in pain. I mean, people who have suffered mono, or cancer, or arthritis must have gone through a lot worse and for months (or years) without end. That's just insane! And you wonder why some people would want to commit suicide? Or euthanasia? (Funny how that sounds like "Youth in Asia") But seriously, I'm rather impressed. I guess at how some people can live though all that agony day after day and still have the strength and will to live. After one day of this crap, and I was completely worn out, no way I'd last for a week, much less a year. Kudos to those of you who've survived worse.

Funny how I thought I was going to enjoy this weekend for a bit of R&R. *sigh*
