[Friday, July 23, 2010: Goodbye Miss Saigon.]

MJNL and I went to watch Miss Saigon tonight. We had heard that it was good from one of her co-workers and wanted to check it out. We rode down to avoid paying for parking, and as we were finding our seats, I heard someone hiss my name.

It was BL! She was with CL and an entourage of other people, but we chatted for a bit before finding our seats.

The show itself was okay. The main singers had strong emotional voices that really could draw you in, but the story was already known so the impact was greatly lessened for me. What did impact me more were our neighbors. We had a couple sitting on each side of us. To the left, the couple that initially sat next to us moved over into the vacant seat next to them leaving a gap, after the break, they moved even further down to the edge of the row a few seats down while the couple to the right of us never returned.

<-- sniffs armpit.

Do I smell funny?
