I took the day off today, since I had an orthodontist appointment in the morning, and then I got my car maintenance appointment pushed back to today as well. I figured that I could get other things done, like picking up a new phone, getting cards for MJNL, getting flowers, etc.
Well, the start of the day worked out fairly well: dropped MJNL off at work, at breakfast, went to the orthodontist, found out I needed a new retainer, showered, headed to the dealership to drop off the car, get dropped off at Woodside, went to the bank, bought some cards and other stuff, picked up a new phone (a Sony Ericsson C510), went to the library, found out that my parents weren't home, started walking back to the dealership, continued to walk back to the dealership, got a call from the dealership telling me that the car would not be ready for at least an hour, called parents and found they were home, turned around and walked to their place, realized that I had put some dents in my orthodics, played some MJ, had a bit of food, found out it would take another couple of hours for them to finish, watched some television, got picked up by the dealership, picked up the car, realized that I had no time to pick up flowers or a cake, drove straight home (during rush hour), got home, changed, headed downtown for dinner with BL and MIBAgentQ at 360 at the CN Tower, got stuffed, headed home, slept.
