The baby shower and diaper party were today, so we had to get up early to boil the eggs and rush over to MJNL's parents' place to help set up. When we got there, I was asked to pick up the sushi around eleven. No problem. Ten minutes later, they also needed ice. Sure. Another fifteen minutes later the Thai food pickup was tacked on. Okay. Before we left, we were asked to grab some more food from some relatives' house. Right.
BL and I left to grab the food, and as we were getting ready to come back to the house (long after we left the grocery store) we were asked to grab some milk.
Yes, there was a LOT of food.
Yes, there were a lot of people. (Around three dozen.)
After we had done our duty, we quickly scampered off to the diaper party, which was much smaller, much quieter, and had a lot less food. But it was much more fun methinks. We played a couple of poker tournaments, there was some Starcraft, and some PS3 gaming.
After the shower was over, we were allowed to come back and have dinner, help clean up a bit, and headed back home.
