I ran some errands after work (returning those tackle boxes) and did not really notice anything out of the ordinary when I was driving home. After I picked up MJNL after her workout, we came up to the corner of Bathurst and Lawrence and I noticed that it was very dark. In fact, the whole north-west block was completely black! It was quite weird seeing all of the lights from around me and staring into the pitch blackness of the powerless buildings. The traffic lights were also out, and in the middle was this dark skinned guy (not a cop) wearing a long black coat and dark gloves directing traffic. What the hey? I was surprised that nobody ran him over!
Oh, and our elevators are beeping. Approximately once per floor, but a little faster than that. I am not sure why. Nor was the concierge.
