[7:27 AM EST - Happy New Year all!]

Okay, so I am a bit late with the greets, but I have been relatively busy this past week. On New Year's eve, MJNL and I went to her parent's place to celebrate the new year. We were expecting more people to show up, but half of the family went out so it was a bit more of a subdued affair. It was entertaining watching the cast of the Jersey Boys do their routine though. On New Year's day, we went to MJNL's uncle's place for lunch. They lived in a condo so we were able to play some pool while we were there. After work on Friday, MJNL and I went to ER's birthday dinner. I ended up bumping into some people I hadn't seen since ER's last birthday dinner. D and G were entertaining as usual.

On Saturday, we had planned to watch 'Slumdog Millionaire' but after a Ramen lunch, we went shopping instead. We were looking for a dolsot for 'bibimbap', but were surprised at how much they cost! We spent the money on 'galbi' and 'bulgogi' instead.

We then headed out to dinner at Big Daddy's for some seafood! It was MJNL's first paycheque dinner, and even my parents were invited to join. The food was good as expected, and everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. We went to MJNL's parent's place to play some games afterward and we headed home pretty late.

We got up late on Sunday, but had time to wander to Ikea to pick up some replacement plastic pegs and screws for our new (old) bookshelf. We then looked for the dolsot at Pacific Mall with no success before heading to my parent's place to drop off the MJ table and have some dinner.

I was able to use the video card that Derelict lent me to play some Fallout 3. So far, so good!
