Well, I lost my last entry, so I will make a quick one about what happened this past week so I do not for get.
On Christmas Eve, I got off work a little early, but rushed home to get ready. We had Christmas dinner with my family that night, then after that we rushed over to MJNL's parent's place to stay the night since their Christmas party was on the 25th. We had dinner there and stayed the night, playing a number of games throughout the day.
Boxing day was spent indoors playing more games before heading back to my place so that we could prepare for the high school reunion on Saturday. We stayed up into two-thirty making kebabs, which was good since most of the ones we made were eaten.
The next morning was spent trying to get more food prepared: the Jamaican rice, fake sushi, and baklava, although the baklava was a bust due to lack of brush, dry phillo, and other issues.
We were a little late showing up, but so was the vast majority of the group. It was good meeting up with everyone again though.
We had lunch this afternoon with MJNL's family before spending some time playing more Settlers of Catan, having dinner, and then heading home.
I spent the last couple of hours cleaning up. I think there is still quite some stuff to clear out..
