I went to play poker last night and ended up losing around ten dollars. It was a small price to pay for several hours of entertainment. More importantly, I was able to ride my bike for a little while during a break in the rain.
The plan for today was to go to visit her parents in Brampton.
Oh, that and to go to work. The new walls are going up at the office and I was asked to come over for a couple of hours in the morning. I took that opportunity to go ride my bike again with the nice weather.
In any case, while we were driving to Brampton, I turned on the news to find out what the traffic report was. I was taking the ramp onto the express lanes just as the announcer was warning of traffic on the express lanes in our area. Crap! Ten seconds earlier, even five seconds earlier and I would have been able to go onto the collector lanes.
Ah well, we went shopping for a bit at Trinity mall. After exchanging the garter belt, we decided to walk to Canadian Tire instead of driving. While we were walking down the parking lot, I thought I heard someone shout my name.
I took a look around and then straight ahead, I saw KM! Well, I guess it was a matter of time!
We had some Indian buffet before heading back to the house. It was tasty, and was not too spicy. (At least the dishes I decided to eat.)
